This year marks the fourth year of the SLIME - Students of Long Island Maker Expo. SLIME celebrates the innovation and creativity of children all over Long Island, and will take place on June 16th at the SUNY Stony Brook Student Activities Center. With more and more administrators attending SLIME, we believe that time and space should be set aside for our thought leaders to connect with one another. A special opportunity at our event this year will be a Long Island LEADers Think Tank moderated by Dr. Michael J. Hynes, Superintendent of Schools for the Patchogue-Medford School District. We would like to invite you to join this group to discuss the future of STEAM education, the maker movement, and hands-on learning in our schools.
To be placed on the VIP list for the Think Tank, please RSVP at longislandleaders@gmail.com.
