Long Island Kids "Make a Difference" Charity Pitch Fest

  • All grade levels are eligible (k - 12).
  • Registration and submissions are due May 18.
  • Voting will take place from May 25 to June 1.
  • ​Students who create the top-voted videos will be required to attend  SLIME - Students of Long Island Maker Expo on June 16 at SUNY Stony Brook to pitch their charities live.
  • The winners will receive donations to their favorite charities generously provided by the SSLMA -Suffolk School Library Media Association: 
    • ​1st Prize - $150
    • 2nd Prize - $125
    • 3rd Prize - $100
    • 4th Prize - $75
    • 5th Prize- $50
  • Video pitches must be submitted through the Flipgrid website using this link: https://flipgrid.com/2409aa  Press the "+" to record or upload your video.
  • Videos will be moderated for appropriate content before they appear on this site.​
